Streamyx finally rolled out its 4Mbit/s package. However is it a good deal?

in my opinion, its not. sadly but true, when we compare our prices and technology with other countries, we do feel cheated. I pay RM 88 per month for my streamyx 1Mbits/s package. Yes it do comes with a lot of extra stuffs in the package. such as

1. bad telephone customer service
2. ocassional/seasonal/frequent downtime. streamyx is like having PMS every now and then
3. really really bad upload data transfer rate ( i cant upload my any bloody photos whens its high quality. have to shrink it and destroy the quality.)
4. overpriced internet service


as always, they say speed is at the best effort.

If they cant even satisfy the 1Mbit/s customers, how would they do with the 4Mbit/s ones?

when other countries are giving away basic broadband packages from 8Mbit/s, cheaper than our 4mbit/s, customers actually feel cheated, dont we?

anyone with the 4Mbit/s service so far? according to what i heard, tmnet gave free upgrades to 4Mbit/s to some customers in Kuala Lumpur. How true is this news, im not sure either.

Good specs isnt it? that WAS my wife notebook. until i returned it to Compaq for a full refund. Actually its a good buy. However, the vista home basic that came with it totally screw up everything. I can however reformat the whole thing and install it with some other operating system like windows xp professional or ubuntu but unfortunately i wasnt prepared to spend so much time FIXING something i just BOUGHT. a lot of driver problems- graphics driver and bluetooth driver problems. sadly but true the built of the whole notebook thingy was not good also. as if it was really really cheaply made.

FIRST- It came to my house a few weeks ago. LONG AWAITED WIFE. COMPAQ PRESARIO V3205 TU. sleekish and as sexy as paris hilton.

connecting to the internet was easy. plug and play. then open DVD drive. LOAD DVD TO WATCH AND VOILA. WHATS THAT NOISEEEE? seriously it sounded really noisy. the DVD is scartching towards the top part of the drive (inside). as if someone is doin dj remixing with my DVD. okay maybe i was paranoid. open, check to see if it fits firmly. Then that farting sound again. ITS SO IRRITATING OKAY!. check with other dics. okay i give up. i dun wanna wake up my neigbours when watching 18+DVDs on my laptop in the middle of the night with that noisy noise!

HP was quick enough to send me a replacement unit a week later. That was quite fast considering i waited 2weeks plus for the computer to come from CHINA.
Open pack, everything was great..until to my HORROR (yes HORROR), the battery cant fit the laptop properly. OMG. AM I GOING to carry this notebook around with THE BATTERY FITTED so LOOSE as if its gonna drop off? what if my battery drop off when walking off starbucks?

great. just great. complained to the head of HP and they sent me a replacement battery a few days later. and that fitted properly, solved the problem.

But yet VISTA was having its PMS. computer failed to detect bluetooth, graphics driver malfunctioning, screen keep turning off occasionally (BLACK SCREEN OF DEATH). and worse thing is my com DOESNT want to turn off when i pressed shut down. It went like "SHUTTING DOWN' screen where you cant press any bloody thing for more than half an hour until the whole unit became so hot.

okay then finally i used the manual restart. PLUG OFF then hell, pull off the battery. RESTART computer than DISCK CHECK that runs shows a lot of bad sector in my HDD. okay fine, reformat laptop to fresh configuration. ADOBE FAILED TO LOAD. ROXIO FAILED TO START.

okay ive screwed enough with my wife. contacted HP for a full refund.

i just divorced my WIFE.

Kdrama: Heaven's Tree

During the holidays i watched this drama. 10 short but sweet episodes. Im a really fussy kdrama watcher. If that particular drama is so bloody boring, i would stop halfway and not finish watching it. However, Tree of Heaven is different. There are very little boring 'parts', rated safe for children except for those who cries easily.

This drama is about a girl who gets a family she had always wanted when her mother remarried. Having no father prior to his death, Hana dreams of a happy family came true when she gets a stepfather and a stepbrother, Yoon Suh. Yoon Suh also lost his mother (yea sad.) Worse still his mother died when he is celebrating his 10th birthday. This is why he was so saddened that he become really really 'weird', not letting anyone into his heart.

Soon they fell in love but Hana tried to escape love. How could she when he is her brother? To add fire theres this Maya who is the protagonist who will make Hana's life miserable.

Yes its quite good actually. And the director for this drama is also the director for Love Story in Harvard and Stairway to Heaven. and yes Stairway of Heaven is a legendary tear-jerker. I would have expected more tears for this drama but i only cried my balls off at the first episode. After that things are just normal.

wow sorry for the lack of update.


these few days have ben really busy. many sort of things happen unexpected. sometimes, you feel yourself so tireed at everything. and it really makes you realise, theres a lot to life. everybody has their aims, everybody has hopes but nobody will know what will happen tomorrow.

Some ppl complain when they dont have enough money. Some complain when they dont have enough this and that. some ppl complain about how their wives look. but seriously, how many actually think and appreciate that we are lucky enough just to have TOMORROW?

btw i was supposed to work at Mid Valley this weekend. it seems that they postponed the thing. anyway it just came right in time. i wont be able to make it anyway. oh yea, one thing everyone should keep in mind. never go shopping in Mid Valley wearing the black work-ing shoes or leather shoes or whatever you call it. Went to mid valley with the haardos (frens) last thursday with leather shoes and my hips feel like dropping offf even until now.

Granado Espada

Long time since i play online games. Granado Espada is a totally different experience. You control 3 characters at a time, running here and there slashing monsters and completing quests.

When i first started playing this game two days ago (thanks to Lukle and Bernie who lend me the DVD to install), i was like Are you serious? 3 characters? How to play?!!

The answer is pretty simple. Basically the most important essence of this game is the stances and skills the characters own. The rest you can leave it to the SPACEBAR key on your keyboard. SPACEBAR activates AI to control your characters while you can choose to either conrol them manually, control each character differently as a team and at the same time activate SPELLS and SKILLS of the characters. The AI may automatically attack monsters, they are not SMART (yea) enough to use spells and skills on their own.

Leveling up isnt that hard either. Once your characters can take down the monsters pretty easily and control the spawn, you can chat with your friend or go to the toilet to poo poo, get a cup of coffee and rest your eyes, leaving the AI to battle for you.

What amaze me is the outsanding graphics details of the game. Its not your 2-D Maple Play till you die out fo boreness kind of graphics, Its third-person player MCC (multi character control).

And the map is amazing. they divide the maps into levels so that while levelling, you know where to go, which monster to hit or not to hit, which actually guides you on lvl-ing.

Trust me, when you play, youll be amazed on how fast the spawn is for some areas and the skills you can use to kill them.

Besides characters like Musketeers(using guns/rifle or pistols) Fighters (self explanatory isnt it? swords/sabers etc.) Mage (spells), Elementers (spells), you get to complete quests that gives you the privilege to use NPC. NPCs in the game can be controllable once you get them and control them They are quite strong too! so you wont get bored with the normal characters.

Playing in PVP servers also enable you to fight with other characters ppl own.

Started two days ago, became addicted and now LVL 25. My characters include

Adriano Exothermic - Fighter - 25

Xiao Mei Exothermic - Mage - 25

Alexis Exothermic- Scout/Healer - 25

Sexy characters with obvious seen-able cleavage is a plus must!
